Golden Firefighting Efforts

Both Golden Gate Petroleum and Northgate Petroleum (our sister company in Chico, CA) have been requested by the State of California Department of Forestry to be stationed on the front line of the fire fighting efforts to assist with the fueling needs.
Our drivers are going beyond the call of duty and are fueling, checking/topping off oil, and washing the windshield for every vehicle and piece of equipment that comes into the area.
Our own Golden Gate Petroleum Driver, Michael Brown, has volunteered to work outside of his normal Bay Area territory to assist the fueling efforts of Northgate Petroleum Drivers Ken Caldwell, Steve Caldwell, and Jeff Lamb. Not only are the Northgate Petroleum and Golden Gate Petroleum drivers doing a fantastic job, but they're doing it while sleeping in sleeping bags and tents pitched at the fire camp.
The Commander of the Department of Forestry said that in all of his years of fighting fires, he has never seen such a high level of service and his fire crews said they have never been treated this well by a fueling company.
He stated that Golden Gate Petroleum and Northgate Petroleum are the best he's ever seen! We are proud to employ such a high caliber of employees and Golden Gate Petroleum/Northgate Petroleum will continue to support the Fire Fighting effort until the fires are put to rest.
